FREE Printable: Nest Counting

This was the sweetest little snacktivity and I wanted to share it with you. I read the book Are You My Mother? to my youngest kiddo. Then, I had her use this How Many Eggs Are In My Nest? counting sheet I created. She used Jelly Bird Eggs (jelly beans) to count out the correct amount of eggs to each nest. And as a little snack to go with it, I created edible nests. I took chow mein noodles and melted white chocolate and mixed them together while the chocolate was melted and let them set up until they were firm and cool and then added three jelly beans to the top of each nest. This snacktivity was easy and oh so fun as you can see...

She had so much fun and it was the perfect fun counting activity. For slightly older kids you could add or take away eggs so they can do addition and subtraction to reach the correct amount of eggs in each nest.
